NEW YORK (Sept. 25, 2017) – ReliaQuest, a leading provider of IT security solutions, was named a Bronze Stevie Award Winner by the Stevie Awards for Great Employers for 2017. This honor recognizes ReliaQuest’s commitment to building a strong culture that can sustain the company’s rapid growth.
The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related programs that help create and drive great places to work. The winners were announced at a gala ceremony in New York City on Sept. 22.
More than 500 nominations from organizations around the world were submitted this year in a range of HR-related categories. ReliaQuest’s nomination centered on its continuous training program, RQ University, where employees take courses that cover everything from new technologies and processes to leadership training and soft-skills.
“It’s exciting that ReliaQuest is known as somewhere where talented individuals can come to learn, grow and build a career that they’re proud of,” said ReliaQuest CEO Brian Murphy. “Our core belief is that if you invest in the people you work with, success takes care of itself. That’s enabled our success for the past 10 years, and I know we’ve just yet to scratch the surface of what we can do together.”
Given the company’s rapid growth and global impact, it is vital that ReliaQuest’s employees remain connected, supported, and aligned with the company’s direction. ReliaQuest has invested significant time, energy and resources into several employee-development programs. ReliaQuest’s positive culture helps the company maintain an employee retention rate above 90 percent – a metric that is increasingly important as the IT security industry grows and evolves.
Stevie Award winners were determined by a combination of votes by employees and the general public and scores of industry experts. More than 50 professionals from a range of industries worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award finalists.
“The judges were extremely impressed with the quality of entries we received in the second annual Stevie Award for Great Employers. The dedication of the Stevie Award finalists to making workplaces great for employees is evident in every finalist nomination,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
This is the second time in the past two months that ReliaQuest has been honored for its positive workplace. In August, ReliaQuest was certified as a Great Place to Work, with a 95 percent workplace satisfaction rate among its growing ranks of highly sought-after IT security professionals.
