Following a 100-person hiring spree which included Silicon Valley executives, cybersecurity giant ReliaQuest is now on par with Silicon Valley funding. The company announced Tuesday morning it has raised $300 million, led by global investment firm KKR & Co.
The funding is a rare move for the company – the only back it has previously received was $30 million in 2016 from FTV Capital. The latest investment led by KKR (NYSE: KKR) with participation from Boston-based Ten Eleven Ventures and ReliaQuest’s founder and CEO Brian Murphy.
