Sr. Business Development Manager
(salary range Over $90K)

Description:
- Generate new revenue by: developing relationships with clients, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and monitoring industry trends and brainstorming for the company to develop or sell.
- Effectively match client needs to business solutions by: developing deep personal expertise in a chosen service area, identifying and recommending effective processes to clients, and use of internal resources throughout to affect good team selling practices.
- Expand the company’s brand image through the facilitation of quality training and planning sessions, participating in selected industry activities and organizations, and developing market support initiatives to supplement personal selling
- Effectively manage cash flows and sales expenses
- Meet/exceed selling, prospecting, and account management goals for assigned accounts
- Achieve sales volume goals by meeting specific quotas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s level education and/or equivalent experience preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience required – 5 of which are at senior level
- Expertise in one or more Agricultural industries – SEED, Crop Protection and/or Agricultural retail preferred
- Regional/Senior manager level of experience required
- Proven client management skills
- Strong facilitation and written communication skills
