Description:

-          External reporting – assist with the planning, preparation, review, and issuance of the company’s SEC filings ensuring that the reports comply with U.S GAAP and SEC regulations

-          Monitor competitor filings and current reporting trends and issues

-          Assist in the preparation of the company’s quarterly earnings releases

-          Audit support – serve as a key coordinator for the company’s independent auditors during quarterly reviews

-          Accounting matters – assist in the implementation of various complex accounting matters including: newly introduced FASB, SEC, and other accounting and reporting requirements

Qualifications:

-          Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field

-          Licensed Certified Public Accountant or in the process of being licensed

-          5 years experience in public accounting/private industry

-          2 years leadership experience managing a team in an accounting environment

-          2-4 years at a “Big 4” Accounting firm

-          2-4 years experience with SEC disclosure and reporting requirements

-          Strong writing skills

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-          Solid analytical and problem solving skills
